Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es de cela, il h\u00e9bergeait encore en son coeur une cimenterie rest\u00e9e en activit\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 80. Le ciment produit dans cette usine a servi \u00e0 la construction de routes, de ponts, de barrages, ainsi que de b\u00e2timents publics et priv\u00e9s sur tout le territoire tessinois.
